Puente Genil is a village in the Spanish province of Córdoba, situated about 45 miles (70 km) from the city of Córdoba. It has a population of 28,139 (13,922 male, 14,217 female).
The name comes from the bridge over the river Genil. The village is an agricultural centre, also known for its semana santa celebration, contracted in the local vernacular to "mananta".
